This property enjoys a quiet location in the Carmarthenshire countryside just six miles from the county town Carmarthen. The town has a good range of shops and eateries and is also home to a number of historic sites including the atmospheric ruined castle. To the south of the property lies the Carmarthenshire coastline where there is a choice of lovely beaches such as those at Pembrey Country Park Llansteffan and Ferryside. For those who have an interest in the literary heritage of the area a trip to The Dylan Thomas Boathouse in Laugharne is not to be missed.
This quaint cottage is where the poet lived for the last four years of his life and the view from the windows was immortalised in his poem Over Sir John s Hill. There is a welcoming tearoom here as well as preserved front parlour and an interesting exhibition of the poet s life. Why not visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the Aberglasney Gardens for a wonderful day out or venture to the Ffos Las racecourse (Please check admittance for the various attractions).
